When washing hands apply
quantity of product to wet hands.
When disinfecting hands apply
recommended quantity to dry
hands. |
Hands are the primary vector for transmission of
microorganisms, with almost three quarters of
all infectious agents being spread via contaminated
hand
The skin of the hands itself is sensitive and is easily
suscrptible to drying and cracking. Dry cracked
areas of skin present an ideal entry point for
micro-organism to penetratee into the human
body resulting in infection.
In order to maintain the skin in a healthy condition
and to prevent any possible cross contamination
via the hands it is essential that all health care
workers follow a recommend protocal for hand
washing and disinfection.
